Club Bio
The Central Oregon Running Klub’s mission is to promote health and fitness through running and to provide an inclusive culture that strengthens the local running community through the support of key community running events, integration with community businesses, and providing running centric activities for youth through masters runners. Since 1980, CORK has been involved in race promotion, trail maintenance, weekly running groups, and coaching our youth to become State Champions and lifelong runners. The Central Oregon area is unique in the variety of athletic activities available to the local citizens and visitors. From beautiful country roads, friendly paths that wind through town along the river, to miles of singletrack trails, the Central Oregon area has the perfect route for every runner. That’s why so many runners call Central Oregon home. CORK Youth Track and Field is starting May 18th 2020. For more information and registration go to the CORK Youth Track and Field Page. We’ll be meeting Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 4-5:30pm at Summit High School for fun running instruction and workouts to get ready for the USATF Junior Olympic Meets. The meets are not required to participate in the program and anyone ages 8-15 are invited to come out.
