Club Bio
Lake Grapevine Runners and Walkers is a 501(c)(3) running club in Grapevine, Texas. We are a diverse group of people from all walks of life and fitness levels. From beginners to veterans, you’ll find us on the weekends running and walking the trails around Lake Grapevine. We meet every Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 AM at the RAW clubhouse for the group run/walk. Founded in 1997, Lake Grapevine Runners and Walkers has an outstanding reputation for community involvement, generosity, having fun, and the ability to put on a great race. We are funded by membership dues and our two annual races, Bold in the Cold 5K/15K held each January and Double Trouble 5K & 10K held each fall. Both races have a stellar history of being well-organized and popular within the running community. Throughout the club’s history, LGRAW has donated more than $135,000 to non-profits, including Texas Special Olympics, RRCA Kids Run the Nation Grant Fund, The Cowtown C.A.L.F. Program, RISE Adaptive Sports, Grapevine Relief and Community Exchange (GRACE) and our own LGRAW College Scholarship. LGRAW has also helped improve the Grapevine parks and trail systems through the city's Adopt-A-Park program and clean-up initiatives with Keep Grapevine Beautiful.
