Club Bio
Raritan Valley Road Runners (RVRR) is New Jersey’s best running club! Though we are involved in many races and events, we are not only a group of racers. We strive to promote the sport of running and its healthy lifestyle. We also volunteer at races and have fun at parties and other social events! For up to date news and for more info see our ever-active Facebook group. The club does race! The overall USATF-NJ Club Grand Prix awards started in 2001. Except for 2005, RVRR dominated this event from inception to 2012. The competition is enhanced and more diverse and we have fallen back, but we have active and competitive open men’s, women’s, and masters men’s and women’s teams. We consider it a challenge to meet! See the “Run for Our Teams” page for more information about racing. Our Wednesday Night Run is one of the nation’s longest-running regularly scheduled group runs. We have not missed a Wednesday Night Run since 1983 (for any reason!) and typically have over 30 runners! In June 2013, we celebrated a 30 year “streak” of organized club runs. Our members average over 250,000 miles a year collectively. Come join us! Join our online group to participate in lively and informative discussions Facebook group.
