The Rhode Island Road Runners is the smallest state’s largest running club. Our members come in all ages, shapes, sizes, and skill levels. Despite the name, we even have a growing number of recreational and race walkers in our ranks. RIRR has hosted an annual picnic in August and a holiday party in the winter for nearly as long as the club has been around. Over the years other events, volunteer opportunities, group runs and an annual awards banquet have become a core part of the club’s social makeup. Ironman, Grand Prix, New England Cup and Hall of Fame awards currently give members fresh goals to work toward each year. Even as the club continues to grow with new members, we are also proud to say that dozens of members have been part of RIRR for over 20 years.
