The Wednesday social run and walk group is dedicated to run along the San Antonio Riverwalk starting from the Pearl to the old Riverwalk. The start of the run is at the bottoms of the staircase next to parking lot and La Gloria restaurant. The distance is 4 miles. This not a competitive run and walk. One can go the four miles or less. Along the course one can see; San Antonio Museum of Art, Elsewhere restaurant, Veterans of Foreign Wars (oldest in Texas), the dam, Tobin Center for the Arts. Variations of the course will take runners or walkers to the cathedral. There are two water fountains along the course and a restroom next the riverwalk locks (dam.) After the run the group waits for everyone to finish and we walk to the Pearl Square, for the social, there is water, beer (no alcoholic option), and wine.
