Club Bio
Why it started and how it works? In 2013, the challenge began as a way to promote a healthy lifestyle by running or walking (physical walk) 1000 miles in a calendar year. The challenge is not a race or a competition. We welcome runners of every level and celebrate each 100 mile increment towards the 1000 mile goal. It takes determination and hard work to meet a goal like this. Why 1,000 miles? Because 2.74 miles a day for 365 days seemed like a reasonable and attainable goal. In 8 seasons we have grown exponentially and have represented in races all over the World. The club has also been to countless of races to cheer fellow runners.
