Run. Walk. Be Proud. Portland Frontrunners is a running and walking club for lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual individuals, and their friends, in Portland, Oregon. Our mission is to promote good health and provide an opportunity for positive social interaction through running, walking, and club events in a supportive, LGBTQIA community. Portland Frontrunners is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization run by a Board of Directors elected by our Members. We are a member of International Front Runners, a consortium of over one-hundred Frontrunner chapters worldwide. Being an IFR member greatly expands our visibility and gives members access to a global network of gay-identified running organizations. We are also a member of Road Runners Club of America who issues our insurance and provides us with governing and running resources. Membership is not required to join us for our weekly runs and walks, but if you continue to come and enjoy the benefits, we hope you will join to help sustain Portland Frontrunners and its mission! Your membership fee is good for the remainder of the current calendar year. If you join in October or later in the year, your membership is good for the remainder of the current calendar year as well as the following calendar year. We offer both regular and student rates.
