RUN NNK was started in 2015 by a group of local runners to help support runners and walkers in the Northern Neck and to promote running and walking as part of a healthy lifestyle. The club is growing, and now has more than 50 members! 2020 memberships and renewals are now being taken. We welcome runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Our goal is to provide camaraderie and encouragement to all, and to help competitive runners who wish to improve their performance. We host group runs, the annual Run NNK Earth Day 5K, educational and training programs, beginners programs, and social events. We also seek to support community activities and events that promote physical fitness in both children and adults. Club meetings are generally held quarterly and usually include an educational program. The meetings start at 6 pm and usually end by 7:15.
